TinyMe with big personalities!

Last night I attended a bloggers event for TinyMe.co.uk at the beautiful setting of Oundle Mill along with 15 or so other bloggers, unfortunately quite a few had to drop out due to this pesky flu bug which is doing the rounds.  The event was one of the best blog events I have attended in a while, with no children around they were able to get our full attention and have the opportunity to interact with us without having to shout over the cries and chatter of our little darlings.  As much as we love them, sometimes it is easier to talk ‘business’ when they are not around, so thank you TinyMe for a very fun, relaxing, adult evening!

TinyMe are very new to the UK market and wanted to give a big shout out and say hi and this is what they have to say about themselves:

Tinywho? Tinyme.

The extremely very true story of Tinyme.  Once upon a time, 3 young dads (who happened to have 14 kids under 9) combined a whole bunch of geeky high tech machines, some generous dollops of cuteness, a slightly loopy team of people and mixed them together with the world wide webby thingy.

Normally I would write my own description of a company but I honestly don’t think I could have described them any better myself as this one little paragraph gives you a big indication of the type of company they are.  When we met Mike and Ben last night I wasn’t prepared to be greeted by two Australian accents.  It turns out TinyMe is the new branch of their already hugely successful Australian business Mooo.com.au.  They began in 2006 from the nursery/office in Mike’s house and slowly went from strength to strength.  I’m not at all surprised about their success when you consider the big personalities behind TinyMe.  The guys are so enthusiastic about TinyMe it’s really hard not to get pulled in and want be a part of it all.  They have so many ideas and aspirations but yet they remain grounded and know where they are heading, its good to have dreams and I have no doubt that they will continue to go from strength to strength here in the UK too.

We were able to have a good look at some of the TinyMe product range and I think it is fair to say that all of those who attended secretly (or not so secretly in actual fact) wanted to sneak half of them home in their bags.  TinyMe offer a huge range of affordable, premium quality personalised products for children with a few products sneaking into the range for the adults too.  The range includes personalised bags, name labels, height charts, wall decor, stationery and personalised books with more to come in the future.  They even have a special link on their Twitter page where you can download free printables such as Cupcake labels and masks.  The labels are all made from super high quality materials which means they are scratch and rub resistant (ideal when you add children to the mix).

Their website is super easy to navigate, just choose the product you are interested in, select the design, select the colour, personalise it, approve it and order it.  Postage and packing to the UK currently starts at £2.99 for orders up to £24.99 and £5.99 for deliveries over £25 and your order should typically be in your hands within 10 working days.  There are plans to begin operations in the UK in the future though so this time and cost may change.

This is just the start from the TinyMe journey in the UK and hopefully I will be able to keep you updated along their way . . .
