Where is my period?

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t miss it at all!  But Beanie Boy is now 10 months old and I still haven’t had a period?  OK so I breastfed exclusively until 6 months and then slowly stopped when he was 7 months but surely my monthly ‘friend’ should be back by now?

I keep getting the lovely period pains and I have the odd ‘spotting’ every now and then but other than that, nothing! Nada! Zilch!!!!

I know what you’re thinking, pregnant??  Yes I have been down that route too and have done a few pregnancy tests, especially when Little Bean announced out of the blue “you’ve got a baby boy in your tummy Mummy”.  I told her she was wrong but she insisted that I did have a baby boy in my tummy.  Just to be sure I did another couple of tests but they all came back negative so I’m back to my initial question, “where is my period?”.

I wrote a very similar post not very long ago and guess what started the week after?! Oh yes, the dreaded period. 18 months without them and it was bloody horrendous! Dreading the next one already, and it won’t be long before I am prementrual again. All I would say is make the most of it!! x

Really?!?!? Oh no, I do have a feeling that it might not be pretty when it arrives – thanks for the warning x
