113/365 – Lazy Sunday

DSC04872

What a wonderfully lazy day, we began with an Easter Egg Hunt for the children around the garden and house, then whilst they were busy trying to find their Easter treasure I hid a present for each of them in their bedrooms (just a book each, nothing big).  When Curly and Little Bean returned to their bedrooms you could hear their gasps of ‘ooh’ and ‘yeah’ as they discovered their presents and tore off the wrapping paper.  Little Bean then ran into Beanie Boy’s bedroom to show him her book and declared ‘oh no, you haven’t got a present?  I’ll ask Mummy!’.  I reassured her that he would have a present later, he had only just woken up.

We then headed off for a barbeque with Hubby’s Brother and family.  We had a really nice time there, they have a son who is 1 year older than Little Bean and a daughter who was born in January.  The children play really well together and had lots of fun, enjoyed a picnic in the garden and generally had a ball.

Late lunch we headed over to spend the remainder of the day with Hubby’s Sister who had been cooking lunch for their Mum and Dad.  Again the children played nicely in the garden and we all enjoyed refreshing drinks and Simnel cake before heading off for an afternoon stroll.  To say that the children were tired would be an understatement, tea-time was a struggle and bedtime couldn’t come soon enough!

Just another very happy family day out xx
