64/365 – Spring

When I woke up this morning and opened the curtains I was very pleasantly surprised to see the sun shining and I felt excited by the day ahead.  We had no plans, no commitments – the day was ours.  I asked Little Bean if she fancied going for a walk and a play in the park, which of course she jumped at.  I contacted my Mother-in-Law and asked if she wanted to join us and our day was mapped out before us.

We had a lovely walk through the park, we saw the ducks and the swans, we played in the park and made the most of the sunshine.  Today Spring had most definitely arrived!

After our walk we returned to Nanny and Grandad’s house for a lovely dinner and for Little Bean to play.  She kept telling me that she wasn’t tired and she didn’t need to go home to bed.  In the car on our way home she told me again “Mummy, I’m not tired, I don’t need sleepies” which was followed by silence . . .

Oh no, not tired at all!

Oh, that is so beautiful. Don’t they always look like complete angels when they’re asleep.
